STRUCTURE DESCRIPTION
The Hotel San Luca is located in the Piazza Garibaldi in the historic centre of Cortona (within city walls), on a magnificent natural panoramic terrace overlooking the Val di Chiana and the Lake Trasimeno. From here you may reach on foot walking down the main street, Via Nazionale, the main square with the impressive medieval town-hall, the two local museums (the new MAEC and the Museo Dicocesano) as well as the Signorelli theatre and the Cathedral. Thanks to its quiet and peaceful location the hotel is an ideal place to relax after visiting town or after a stressful business day whilst enjoying a central location.
The Hotel consists of 60 elegantly furnished rooms equipped with all comforts such as direct dial telephone, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, safe. Cozy and modern at the same time the hotel also provides guests with equipped rooms for meetings and receptions (rooms equipped with overhead videoprojector, white board, light board and slide projector). Our business centre is able to provide guests with internet connection and PC room (extra charged). Our continental breakfast is served in the large halls of the hotel in the winter time and on our sunny terraces in the summer.
Red tiled roofs seem to climb on top of each other interspersed with turrets and bell-towers up to the well-lighted via San Sebastiano running above part of the city walls as you look out from one of the wonderful terraces of our hotel. Other terraces look out over the fertile Val di Chiana stretching at the foot of the hill of Cortona.
The Hotel is open all year round and is easily reached also by public transport. Free and pay parking facilities available in the vicinity.
